AN IRAQI REPORTER THREW HIS SHOES AT PRESIDENT BUSH:

I could be wrong, but I'm starting to think that PRESIDENT BUSH can't wait until BARACK OBAMA takes over as president next month . . . so he won't have to deal with stuff like THIS anymore . . .

--Yesterday, Bush was in Iraq to meet with Iraqi leaders and to celebrate the recent security agreement which calls for all U.S. troops to withdraw from the country by the end of 2011.

--Anyway, Bush was in the middle of a press conference in Baghdad when an Iraqi news reporter named Muntadar al-Zeidi stood up and shouted, quote, "This is the end!" . . . before hurling his SHOES at Bush's head.

--President Bush dodged both shoes, and Muntadar was tackled and dragged out of the room before the press conference continued.

AN IRAQI REPORTER THREW HIS SHOES AT PRESIDENT BUSH:

--Bush brushed off the incident saying, quote, "So what if a guy threw his shoe at me? [It's just] one way to gain attention . . . It's like driving down the street and have people not gesturing with all five fingers. I don't know what the guy's cause is."
